Cache Retreat
Past Champions

Cache Retreat is justifiably proud of its record of producing over 220 home-bred champions.   Home bred means that all of these Saints were whelped here rather than with co-owners scattered around the country as is common practice with many kennels.  About 1/3 were finished by their new owners; the remainder were owned and finished here.

The first litter was whelped in 1972 and the first champion was produced in 1975 (Ch Cache Retreat Dapper Dan).  Our 100th champion was recorded 21 years later in 1996 (Ch C.R. Academy who went on to win Best of Breed at the SBCA National Specialty).   Only ten years later in 2006 Yukon became Cache Retreat's 200th champion.

Pictured in this section are some of the 220+ Cache Retreat Champions.  In the captions for the dogs, the Cache Retreat prefix would precede the name you see and a call name appears with some.   Enjoy this bit of Saint history.    Click on the photo for enlarged view.
